Tineco Pure One S15 Review: Smart Suction on a Sensible Budget

Tineco doesn’t have Dyson’s name recognition, but the Pure One S15 makes a strong case that you’re paying a lot for that badge. Its party trick — a dust sensor that boosts suction only when the air path actually contains dirt — turns out to be one of the most practical features in this entire category.

How the iLoop Sensor Earns Its Keep

Most sticks make you choose: run in high power and watch the battery drain, or run in eco and wonder what you’re leaving behind. The S15’s iLoop sensor splits the difference. Cruise over clean floor and it sips power; hit a dusty patch and you hear the motor spool up instantly, with a ring on the display shifting from blue to red until the area reads clean.

In practice this meant two things: we trusted eco-style cleaning (no second-guessing), and a full clean of our test home used noticeably less battery than fixed-power rivals. It’s the same core idea as Dyson’s particle counter, implemented at a lower price.

Floor Performance

On hardwood, tile, and low-pile carpet, the S15 is excellent — pickup on fine dust and cereal-sized debris was effectively on par with the Shark Stratos. On thick carpet it’s a half-step behind: embedded pet hair needed an extra pass that the Dyson V15 didn’t. Battery and Noise

Up to 40 minutes of adaptive-mode cleaning per charge in our use, helped by the sensor only boosting when needed. It’s also the quietest vacuum in the group at normal power — conversation-friendly, which can’t be said of the Shark.

Living With It

The display is genuinely useful: battery percentage (not vague bars), filter status, and blockage warnings with the location of the clog. The hinged bin is a small step down in feel from the premium brands, and the app adds nothing you’ll use twice — skip the pairing screen and lose nothing.

Verdict

The Pure One S15 is the thinking person’s mid-range stick: smart power management, great hard-floor cleaning, low noise, fair price. Deep-pile carpet households should spend up on the Shark or Dyson; everyone else should check what the S15 is selling for today.
