Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: June 12, 2026
LightStick Hoover Review is reader-supported. This page explains exactly how the site makes money, in plain language, because you deserve to know before you click anything.
Amazon Associates Program
LightStick Hoover Review is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
In practice: when you click a "Check Price" button or a product link on this site and then buy something on Amazon, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price either way — the commission comes out of Amazon's side, not yours.
What This Does Not Affect
- Our ratings. The commission is the same whether we rate a vacuum 4.8 or 2.0, so there is no financial reason to inflate a score. Several products we tested never appeared on this site because they weren't worth your time.
- Our rankings. Products are ordered by how they performed in our tests, not by commission rates.
- The price you pay. Affiliate links never increase the price of anything.
What We Don't Do
- We don't accept payment for reviews or rankings.
- We don't let manufacturers preview, edit, or approve reviews.
- We don't run sponsored content dressed up as editorial. If that ever changes, it will be labeled unmistakably.
Identifying Affiliate Links
Assume that any link to Amazon or another retailer on this site is an affiliate link.
They are also marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code, which is the
machine-readable version of this disclosure.
